KJ-52 drops new CD
By Shane Snyder
Hurricane High School
Christian rapper KJ-52 is back with his new CD, “Remixed,” in stores May 2. The disc features humorous remixes of several of his songs, including “Fivetweezy,” “Mullet Song,” “Revenge of the Nerds” and “Plain White Rapper,” as well as heart-touching remixes of songs like “Dear Slim, Pt. 2,” “Are You Real?” and “I Can Call on You.”
The rapper’s 2005 album “Behind the Musik (A Boy Named Jonah)” recently received the Best Hip-Hop/Rap Album of the Year at the Dove Awards. It included several of the songs being remixed on this album - “Fivetweezy,” “Are You Real?,” Plain White Rapper” and “I Can Call on You,” among them.
KJ-52 is sure to top the Gospel charts with “Remixed.” From his fresh lyrics to his blazing beats, he offers music for everyone to enjoy no matter how old you are or who you are. Whether you’re 9 or 90, a kid from the streets or a soccer mom, his music is guaranteed to touch you, but at the same time, it will leave you with a smile on your face.
“Remixed” will be available at all Family Christian Bookstores and anywhere else gospel music is sold. To hear snippets from the album, enter a concert ticket giveaway or just get more information on the rapper, go to www.kj52.com.
