Week 9: Blake deserved elimination, not LaKisha

Now that there are only four contestants, they sang two songs apiece this week. They sang Bee Gees songs and got help from Barry Gibb.
In the first round, Blake did the worst. He sang "You Should Be Dancing" and tried to do too much with it. Consequently, it didn't work. Simon said it was terrible, and, shockingly, Paula didn't like it either. I say the beatboxing has got to go.
LaKisha did OK. She sang "Staying' Alive," which is arguably the Bee Gees, biggest song. But I think Blake should've sung this one, and LaKisha should've picked something else. This would have been a song where Blake’s beatboxing would have been good.
Melinda sang "I Love You Inside and Out" and did OK. None of the judges really liked it, but none of them hated it, either. I liked it but I wasn't shouting, “Yippee!” when she finished.
Finally, Jordin, sang "Baby You Don't Know What Its Like," which is a song I love, by the way. She had some great vocals and did amazing. I thought it was her best yet, and the judges thought it was the best of the night.
In round two, Blake was the worst again, but at least he did better than his first song. He sang “This is Where I Came In,” and I think this is where he should go out as well. I mean, come on, he beatboxes on every single song!
After her fantastic performance in round one, Jordin didn’t do quite as well in round two. But she was still better than Blake and she still kept me entertained with her version of “Woman in Love.” The judges told her it wasn’t her best, and Simon called it “old-fashioned.” That doesn’t mean much, though. He said that to Carrie Underwood, too.
Melinda sang "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart?" very well. Her vocals were wonderful, and I think it was her second best performance ever. The judges also liked it.
Finally, LaKisha sang "Run to Me," which I believe was the best performance of the night even though the judges didn't love it. I think she deserves to make the top three.
The results this week were once again a disappointment. Jordan was told that she was safe, followed by Melinda and Blake, leaving LaKisha as the one eliminated. This was unfair. Blake did awful, and I think he should have been the one to go.
LaKisha didn't deserve this. Sure she wasn't the best every week, but she did give a lot of good performances. Her elimination this week was ridiculous.
So now, the top three has one amazing contestant (Jordin), one contestant with an amazing voice but no personality (Melinda) and one who’s jus there because of all the teenage girl voters (Blake). All I have to say now is go Jordin!
